At The Studio, we’ve redefined Pilates for today’s fitness enthusiasts, blending Classical Pilates techniques with the modern fitness approach of time under tension (TUT). This method challenges muscles while building a deep mind-body connection that enhances both strength and mindfulness.

As Pierce County’s first fitness facility to feature the XFormer®—a hybrid Pilates reformer that combines resistance training and cardio in one powerful, balanced system—our Modern Pilates sessions focus on slow, controlled movements to safely push muscles to fatigue, making it an invaluable tool for long-term health, injury rehab + prevention, and an overall increased quality of life. This intentional approach to movement is designed not only for physical transformation but also for lasting change.
