Favorite thing about Pilates:

How it makes me feel. The mind-body connection is so beautiful and it's allowed me to come home to myself in a way I had never experienced before while pushing my body to reach new limits. I've grown an immense sense of gratitude + appreciation for my body and happily celebrate all that it does for me (on and off the reformer), and it all started with slowing down and connecting to myself + my breath.

I’ve been a hairstylist/makeup artist for a little over 20yrs. I love to sing. I serve on my worship team. I tend to be very creative. I love pouring into and inspiring people. Pilates gets you into your body, and brings focus to the present moment through intentional and controlled movements. The physical body is so deeply connected to the mind and I love the ways Pilates assists with bringing attention back to what matters— training our mind to focus where we choose to focus it, while simultaneously strengthening our physical frame.

Pilates fuels my mind and body. I love doing it and I love teaching it. It compliments everything else I do — whether it's going on a long run or running after my kids — and gives me the much needed balance to feel strong and healthy.

Anything high energy, dynamic, and with a killer beat  — you'll hear a combo of dance, electronic, hip hop, R&B, 90s/00s throwbacks, plus the occasional country song (gasp!) in my classes

I have a masters degree in Nutrition and have been a nutritional consultant and health coach for the past 12 years, with 12 years of experience teaching Pilates reformer, mat Pilates, barre, and boot camp.

Has got to be the Pilates Arabesque! It's one of the movements I notice that really helps people hone in on their precision, control, and the quality of their bodily movement. It looks stunning once in form.

Just know my playlists have range! My music vibe varies, going anywhere from Jersey Club, to hits from the early 2000's, hip-hop, alternative jams, you name it. A little bit of everything!

Fun Fact: I am a freelance fashion model in my spare time! I have a lot of fun going to casting calls, walking runway shows for local designers, and finding community among creatives.
